³⁰ They spit on Him. They took a stick and hit Him on the head. ³¹ After they had made fun of Him, they took the coat off and put His own clothes on Him. Then they led Him away to be nailed to a cross. ³² As they were on the way, they came to a man called Simon from the country of Cyrene. They made him carry the cross for Jesus.
